The Arts have always enriched us. It’s a human right to have access to the Arts, wherever we live. When we let them encircle and fill us, they make our lives better.

Aspiring musicians take their first steps on the path to artistry by being inspired, touched by the art of great musicians, seeing and hearing them in action. Our world needs to create opportunities for the journey to be a rich, rewarding one. We need to cultivate our home-grown musicians, our great artists of the future, by supporting them to become world-class. For some, sadly, these opportunities are rare: let’s make more of them.

Talent exists in every corner of the earth. When we create platforms for talented musicians to come together to do what they do best - to make music - a kind of alchemy happens. The musicians feel the magic; and so does the audience. We do this for Art. It is its own purpose. Music enriches the soul, creating a virtuous cycle, enriching all of our lives.

Afflatus Ensemble was founded by Jason Bae in 2021 amid the Covid-19 pandemic with the sole purpose of presenting live performances of classical music in communities and concert halls with young, aspiring, talented musicians around the world.

AE artists have so far performed with orchestras such as Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonics, Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Symphonique de l’Opéra de Toulon, George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, Moldova Philharmonic Orchestra in Iași (Romania), Kraków Opera Orchestra, Orchestra Senzaspine (Italy), The Polish Radio Choir, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Juilliard Orchestra, Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, Staatsorchester Kassel, Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, New World Philharmonie (Seoul) and New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
