Lei Zheng started his cello studies in China. Under the tutelage of Guillaume Lafeuille, Patrick Gabard, Yannick Callier and Bruno Bobilliard, Lei attended the Conservatoire Toulon Provence Méditerranée where he has received DEM with distinctions in both solo cello performance and chamber music. He continued his studies further with Patrick Gabard and received his “Diplome de Perfectionnement” with first prize in cello performance. Lei continued his studies even further at Schola Cantorum Paris with Manfred Stilz and Jean-Pierre Wallez for chamber music.
Lei made his concerto debut performing Beethoven Triple Concerto for violin, cello and piano with Orchestre Symphonique de l’Opéra de Toulon and as an orchestral musician, he has been a member of Azur Symphonic Orchestra.
With his passion in pedagogy, Lei is also an education manager of the ‘Association of Master Chin Kung’s Friends at UNESCO’ where its goal is to perpetuate inter-cultural and inter-religious dialogue and an education for a world of peace, harmony and tolerance. During the International Conference of Peace (La Conférence Internationale De La Paix) at UNESCO in Paris 2018, Lei has performed together duo with Manfred Stilz.
Lei is currently a professor at École de Musique Marly le Roi and at Allegromusique where he also regularly presents solo and chamber music recitals.

Pour perfectionner sa technique de violoncelle, il entra au Conservatoire Toulon Provence Méditerranée où il obtint un DEM de Violoncelle avec mention très bien dans la classe de M.Guillaume Lafeuille et M.Patrick Gabard, et s’inscrivit parallèlement en classe de Musique de Chambre avec Yannick Callier et M.Bruno Robilliard où on lui décerne également un DEM avec mention très bien. Après il s’est formé auprès de Patrick Gabard ou il a Il remporté un 1er prix de violoncelle.
Il approfondit ses études à la Schola Cantorum dans la classe de Manfred Stilz en violoncelle, et la musique chambre dans la classe de M. Jean-Pierre Wallez et il a été inspiré musicalement par M. Tamas Vesmas .
Il s’est distingué dans l’interprétation du Triple concerto pour violon, violoncelle et piano de Beethoven avec l’Orchestre Symphonique de l’Opéra de Toulon en tant que soliste. Comme musicien d’orchestra, il était Violoncelliste tutti à Azur Symphonic Orchestra pendant 3 ans.
Passionnée par l’enseignement, surtout pour les jeunes violoncellistes il est professeur Violoncelle à l’école de Musique Marly le Roi et à Allegromusique et se produit régulièrement en concert solo et en concerts de musique de Chambre.
D’un autre coté, Zheng Lei travaille dans Association des Amis de Master CHIN KUNG à l’UNESCO en tant que responsable éducatif, dont le but est de perpétuer dialogue Interculturel et Interreligieux et Education pour un monde de paix, d'harmonie et de tolérance, où il dirige régulièrement la cérémonie bouddhiste au sein de l’association.
à Paris, En 2018, à l’occasion de la Conférence Internationale De La Paix, il a joué en collaboration avec violoncelliste Allemagne-français Manfred stiltz.

Jason Bae is the Founder & Music Director of Afflatus Ensemble and has recently finished his two-year role as the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra Conducting Fellowship Programme Conductor in 2020/21. Jason made his debut in Stockholm, conducting the Aurora Festival Orchestra - presenting the Swedish premiere of "Violent, Violent Sea" by the American composer, Missy Mazzoli. Last year, Jason gave the New Zealand Premiere of Lotta Wennäkoski's "Nosztalgiaim" with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra National Youth Orchestra.
He has received masterclasses with renowned conductors such as Osmo Vänskä with Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Jorma Panula with South Denmark Philharmonic Orchestra, Kuopio Symphony Orchestra, Vaasa City Orchestra, Hamish McKeich, Miguel Harth-Bedoya, Holly Mathieson and Gemma New with New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
Formerly trained as a pianist, Jason received his Master of Arts in piano performance with the highest distinction award, 'DipRAM' at the Royal Academy of Music in London studied under the Professor Emeritus Christopher Elton and Joanna MacGregor in 2015. Jason then further studied orchestral conducting and was mentored by Jukka-Pekka Saraste. Currently, he has been accepted to study his second Masters Degree in Orchestral Conducting at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm as the only recipient receiving the entire full scholarship from the college.
